This is a photo my dear friend took of my market stall a couple of weeks ago at Rose St Artist Market.
She printed it off and gave it to me the other day... It was so nice to receive a printed photo. A hard copy of a lovely a memory.
I always forget that I can print photos off rather than just looking at them digitally.
I have been very busy lately making many new products which I can't wait to put out there for all to see.
It is exciting making new pieces both technically and for my creative side too. Sometimes it is so easy to keep doing the same things and get stuck in this.
Anyways back on a market note my next stall at Rose St Artist Market is this Saturday 2 July.
The market is open 11am-5pm.
So if you wish to come have a look at some Reckless Exuberance goodies come along!

at last
after way too much deliberation
and jibber jabbering on about it for ages
finally I actually did what I said I would
hopefully the first of many many

sunshine bliss on a winters day
Some new shorts I have begun to make...
It took a while to master a new shorts pattern I was happy with
but now they are ready!
Sitting outside my this morning in the sunshine was absolute bliss which led to some dress up action in my new shorts.
Hadn't imagined these shorts on a boy but this fellow is not one to be left out of such adventures.
I think they both look rather pretty in patterned shorts.
Today, I discovered, is the first international yarnbombing day!
This makes me think it is the perfect time to partake in my first piece of knitted graf!
This evening I am going to do it... I will keep you posted! x

some buttons made today
it is something I always put off doing...
not sure why as it is ever so satisfying!
I love the effects created
swirly, messy, mad magic!
so flowing and organic
one is never the same as any other...
each one is unique, which is the way I think everything should be!
I have realised that what many see as flaws I see as beautiful.
Hmmmmm I don't think I'm alone though.
On to other matters though
this lady has been on my back
or in my head
telling me to knit knit knit!
which is exactly what I have been doing...
As I have another Rose St Market tomorrow!
and throughout this week I have knitted many new and
special things...
developments have been made
and so has a mess of my studio...
So if you would like some custom knitted gloves, in colours of your choosing, or a lovely new hood in wonderfully bold colours
then come visit me on Rose St tomorrow between
11am and 5pm
Can't wait! x

be an explorer
I like to take my backpack when I am going on an adventure
swing it over my shoulders
and stride off into the wild
this little guy is a recently made one
I took it to Dagmar Rousset this week where it
is now for sale.
I do find myself a little sad though when I give them away to the
shop as I become quite attached to these objects that I spend so much time creating.
But then I think... this little creation is off to have amazing adventures with some other exuberant being.
Which is actually rather exciting!
Bye bye backpack
Hope you find a happy home x
